In Texas they put a football in your hand on day 1.

FOLES

Tonight Eagles’ QB Nick Foles will make his debut on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys.  Although Foles is new to the national spotlight he is no stranger to handling a football in the lone star state.  On the first day of his life in Austin, Texas Foles’ parents put a pigskin in his hands.  Years later he would go on to break Drew Brees’ records for both passing yards (5,658) and touchdown passes (56) at Westlake High School.

Tonight Foles returns to Texas to face a hungry Cowboys hoping to keep their playoff hopes alive.  Whether or not Foles is the answer to Philadelphia’s QB struggles is yet to be determined but one thing is certain:  Tonight will be a golden opportunity for him to make his case.  The action begins tonight on NBC with FNIA starting at 7pm ET.  Kickoff at 8:20pm ET.
