On Sunday night the New Orleans Saints will face the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.

The Saints arrived in Denver on Friday, instead of Saturday to allow an extra day to aclimate their bodies to the high altitude.

Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium sits 5,280 feet above sea level.  For most visting teams fatigue and dehydration can become an issue due to lower levels of oxygen in the air.

The Saints, who play their home games below sea level are not taking this factor lightly, but are confident they will be ready come game-time.

On Saturday, Saints cornerback Jabari Greer told Michele Tafoya that, ”this is what we do as a profession.  We make sure we are in shape and available to play in any circumstance.  We’re going to prepared and we are going to be ready.  The coaches make sure we are well rest and well hydrated.   Coming up here is just another opportunity to overcome adversity”.

Coverage of the game will begin at 7pm ET with Football Night in America on NBC.
