Brian Dawkins No. 20 jersey will be retired tonight on SNF

Tonight before the Philadelphia Eagles take on their NFC East rival NY Giants former Eagles safety Brians Dawkin’s No. 20 jersey will be retired.  Dawkins, who spent 13 of his 16 years playing in Philadelphia recorded 898 tackles and 34 interceptions while with the team.  Look for Michele Tafoya’s interview with Brian before kickoff.  Coverage begins with FNIA starting at 7PM ET.

    Really NBC? First you advertise about the event and then you talk over it? If you weren’t going to show it, fine, however was it neccessary to fade into the stadium from the NBC center and actually talk over it? Talk about rude. If anyone of your staff was retiring you would certainly expect people to listen to what was being said.

    I really can not believe how rude your announcers and station are, they even commented about how hard it was to talk over it. Maybe thats because they should have been quiet and given the man a little bit of respect.
