New York Jet’s All-Pro center Nick Mangold is headed to London to watch his sister Holley compete for Team USA in weightlifting. Holley Mangold hit a 145-kilogram clean-and-jerk at the weightlifting trials in March to earn a spot in the London Olympics. Though once projected to be a 2016 Olympic prospect, the 22-year-old Ohio native is ahead of schedule and hopes to medal for Team USA.
This season Nick Mangold will be part of the 2012 Sunday Night Football Faith Hill open. While filming this summer he shared a few words with us about Holley and her journey to the London Olympics.
